How Can Tech Disrupt Energy?

On Wednesday, June 21, as part of Maine Startup & Create Week, Verrill Dana partner Jim Cohen, a utilities and energy lawyer for more than 25 years, will moderate a panel entitled “How Can Tech Disrupt Energy?” Panelists include Ben Polito, president of Pika Energy; Ryan Nesbitt, co-founder and president of Arcadia Power; and Ben Sampson, director of Energy Ventures at GE Ventures.

The panel will examine how new technologies will address challenges in energy generation, transmission, storage and use in a sustainable manner. The panel will also explore how new technologies are promoting a more efficient use of existing sources of energy. 

The session will take place June 21 at the Institute for Contemporary Art at the Maine College of Art in Portland, Maine from 9:00am to 10:15am.
